Looking for something unique I use bark for some of my resin art. So why not engrave it too! I peeled off some bark from a tree branch that had fallen. The gnome fits perfect with spring and the bark - resulting in a gnome pendant for a necklace.

The piece of bark that I used was pendant sized and had a natural hole on one side that I will use for the pendant ring.
I engrave on the inside. The settings for the wood coaster worked for the bark I used. I taped it down so it would not shift during processing.
Use the auto focus (ruler upper right) - make sure that the red cross is on the material.
Next set the processing area - I used a polygon shape to maximize the work area. (Use the upper right flag symbol to start).
When this is done, check the processing area and start the engraving.

I sprayed the front and back of the bark with polyurethane.
Once dried I got a gold ring to enable the piece to become a pendant. Then I got a golden chain.
Enjoy!
